Features
WICKS EXCESS BODY HEAT TO THE OUTSIDE. Its breathable material makes it comfortable to wear, even when you’re working hard. This is because moisture is wicked to the outside, while fresh air is let in.
FOR COMFORTABLE WEAR. Comfortable body temperature varies depending on the individual, their current physical activity and the ambient temperature. Integrated ventilation openings allow body heat to be released from clothing as required, ensuring a high level of comfort and a pleasant internal climate.
HYPOTHERMIA PROTECTION. The fast-drying functional fabric of your protective clothing is ideal for work in changing weather conditions and sweaty jobs. The high-quality material protects you from hypothermia.
VERY COMFORTABLE FOR DAILY USE. A particularly lightweight outer fabric is achieved through the use of special functional fibres, and offers enhanced wearing comfort. This means that you are ideally equipped for your daily work in the forest or when climbing trees, especially in summer.
FOR MORE VISIBILITY. Stay visible even in poor conditions, to avoid accidents. The high proportion of bright orange makes your protective clothing more eye-catching.
BETTER VISIBILITY. Reflective areas not only look good on your protective clothing, but also increase your safety. They mean that you will always be easy to see, even in the dark or in the forest.
FUNCTION Core jacket: Comfortable, breathable work jacket for private work with a chainsaw
The breathable, lightweight STIHL FUNCTION Core jacket is particularly suitable for private work with chainsaws. Whether you’re working in the forest, sawing firewood or in agriculture, the STIHL FUNCTION Core jacket impresses with its mix of functional materials and high wearing comfort. This comfort is ensured by ventilation material under the arm, robust and elastic stretch fabric on the sides and elbows, as well as the adjustable sleeve width with Velcro fastening.
The FUNCTION Core jacket is available in regular fit. It features a zipped chest pocket for safe storage of a smartphone, for example. It also includes 2 additional side pockets.
The stylish design of the FUNCTION Core work jacket features neon green applications and an individual, striking look which emphasises its functionality. The high proportion of high-visibility orange and reflective elements give this work jacket excellent visibility even in poor light conditions.
The outer fabric of the work jacket is partly composed of recycled polyester. Its water- and dirt-repellent effect is achieved without the use of PFAS.
You can combine the STIHL FUNCTION Core work jacket with STIHL FUNCTION Core trousers or FUNCTION Core 270° front leg protection.
The STIHL FUNCTION Core jacket is machine washable at 60°C.
